I am pretty new to the serious Card Making Community.. I had an obsession with Nail Art for 2 years, a lot of time & Money invested... After careful consideration and discussion with my future husband, it seemed as tho Paper Crafting had snuck in & stolen my attention... He didn't care how much time wasted on my Nail Art, he saw it like me, not wasted time, a skill to be molded & used in future artistic endeavors... The investment, he never thought twice to encourage me to dismantle my Nail Desk & take over the dining room for my crafting area... I dismantled my mini-nail salon in my living room & converted it to his work area & "lab"... In the past few months, I have taken over the dibing room.. Moved my brand new dining room table out & moved in my prized Hydraulic Drafting Table that belonged to my Daddy.. I must Say, it sure looks good set up & being used.. My baby has been so amazing building storage for me... I have taken over the entire room, used most of my china cabinet over time... lol..
I got started making cards back in November.. I wanted to make Jeremy a 6 month anniversary card.. I was so proud of it at the time.. I had to laugh when I just photographed it for this post, its pretty rough, but not bad with the limited supplies I was working with at the time... My, how my stash has grown over this short time... And the progress I have made is amazing to see...
I'm planning to enter some of the challenges in the future, so I figured I needed to go ahead & start a blog to document my progress..
I've included a photo of that 1st Anniversary card that started it all as well as some photos of my craft room, my baby is working on some new racks for me, so some of it will be changing soon.. I will also break down all my storage in a future post.. Feel free to ask any questions you may have...
